Bhaktapur Entrance Fee (2025 Update)

Bhaktapur City has different entrance fees based on the visitor’s nationality. Foreign tourists from countries other than SAARC need to pay USD 15 or NPR 2,000 per person for the Ticket. This ticket is valid for one full day and allows access to all major heritage areas inside Bhaktapur.

Visitor can purchase tickets from different Ticket Counters at any of the official entry gates. Here are some of the major entrance gate to enter the Bhaktapur city with Ticket Counters :

  • Byasi
  • Chyamasingh Gate
  • Nearby Mahalaxmi Temple
  • Entry Point at Bhelukhel
  • Nearby Barahi Bridge
  • Bharwacho Gate, Dudhpati

Tickets are valid for the entire day.
